We want to make a lasting and positive impact in our world for future generations. To solidify this commitment, we will be involving primary school children to help us plant a small, tranquil copse at a historical spot in Scotland associated with the Murrays, the details of which will be announced nearer the time. We are having 30 trees (10 of each species: silver birch, rowan, wild cherry) delivered to us in November 2025. Planting is recommended as soon as possible after the trees arrive and they will certainly be planted by March 2026. We would like to invite 30 clan members or followers to have us plant one tree each dedicated in their honour - free of charge - on a first-come-first-served basis. This means that clansmen and clanswomen around the world will be able to participate wherever they live. Dedicated trees will be recorded in a register with details of location, species, and the name of the person being commemorated. For further information, please email: themurrayclansociety@hotmail.com
