We were delighted to receive the following message from one of our clanswomen in Australia, who commented on our project to plant 30 trees dedicated to clansfolk around the world at a historical spot in Scotland associated with the Murrays: "Thank you very much. [My 15-year-old daughter] is very grateful and humbled and is now saving her money to travel to Scotland. .. she would like to choose a ROWAN tree please. She investigated the three options [rowan, silver birch, wild cherry] and was fascinated with the mythology surrounding the Rowan, the uniqueness of the leaves and the beauty it displays for each of the seasons. Congratulations on your efforts to revitalise the Murray Clan Society. If you hadn’t, we would never have discovered the wonderful history of the Murrays, the Scottish Highlands etc. You have enriched our lives, our minds and most importantly-our hearts. Yours in deep gratitude".
